In Stefano Cerio's series “Chinese Fun,” he explores the facades of amusement without an audience’s reaction. He took these pictures from the amusement park either in the off season or after hours, when no one would be around. The images were taken in the four cities of Beijing, Shanghai, Qingdao, and Hong Kong, and he would mainly focus on water parks or amusement parks. Cerio's work inspires me to see the bigger picture in things you wouldn't mainly notice, he took these pictures when he knew no one would be around and they showed how beautiful and peaceful these places can be. I absolutely love water and amusement parks and this shows how different it is without the noise and the surroundings of how we would normally view the place.

“Exploring the boundary line between vision, recounting the real and the spectator’s horizon of expectation, [and] the staging of a possible reality that might not be true but is at least plausible.”
