These pictures are taken in different perspectives. The first picture is shown with it looking like I am inside the bracelet, when its just the angle that makes it look it. In the second picture it looks like Logan is holding up the ceiling because he is standing in front of the ledge. In the third picture it looks like Lauren and I are holding up or holding up the football goal. These perspectives make the pictures look like optical illusions. We had some difficulties figuring out the angles to take the pictures at but we just kept lining up the object with the camera until we got it.
On the first day of school we were handed a piece of paper and a lollipop. We were told to draw the lollipop but we had to use the whole piece of paper. I decided to draw three big lollipops with the main description of the wrapper, and then smaller ones to fill the page.
http://www.cerio.it/ In Stefano Cerio's series “Chinese Fun,” he explores the facades of amusement without an audience’s reaction. He took these pictures from the amusement park either in the off season or after hours, when no one would be around. The images were taken in the four cities of Beijing, Shanghai, Qingdao, and Hong Kong, and he would mainly focus on water parks or amusement parks. Cerio's work inspires me to see the bigger picture in things you wouldn't mainly notice, he took these pictures when he knew no one would be around and they showed how beautiful and peaceful these places can be. I absolutely love water and amusement parks and this shows how different it is without the noise and the surroundings of how we would normally view the place. “Exploring the boundary line between vision, recounting the real and the spectator’s horizon of expectation, [and] the staging of a possible reality that might not be true but is at least plausible.” |
