For the pick two blog post I decided to do my clay pig and my stencil. We were assigned to make a clay fish but I thought I would be able to put more details and hard work into an animal which I really enjoy, which is why I made a clay pig. With making the clay pig it was hard to align all four legs to be equal, so to fix this I put a piece of paper under the body and aligned the legs by using the piece of paper, because the paper will burn away at the end. To make this clay animal, I first decided which animal I wanted to create, then I molded the clay into the animal, fired it, and then covered it with glaze. For the stencil piece I decided to do a fish because I felt like the scales would have came out cool through the spray paint. It was very difficult to cut out each scale so to overcome it I just made smaller shapes to cut out inside the scales. To make this stencil I traced the picture, cut out all interior lines, and then spray painted it.
